Jonathan Jenney, BSc PT - Registered Physiotherapist

Woodstock - Princess Location & Lambeth Location

Owner and President

  • Jonathan Jenney is a registered physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. Along with Melanie, his wife, he is the owner of Active Physiotherapy Solutions. 
  • He completed his Bachelor of Science - Physiotherapy in 2000 at the University of Toronto. Prior to obtaining his Physiotherapy degree he attended the University of Western Ontario where he received an undergraduate degree in Honors Physical Education with a focus in Sports Injuries and a Bachelor of Education.
  • After completing his physiotherapy degree, he worked for a short period of time at a physiotherapy clinic in his home town of Tillsonburg. He then worked for 6 years as a partner in another physiotherapy clinic in Woodstock. In 2006, Jonathan, along with Melanie, opened Active Physiotherapy Solutions in Woodstock which continues to grow to this day. In 2014, they purchased the Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic which was the original private physiotherapy clinic in Woodstock, established 20 years ago. 
  • Away from the clinics, Jonathan enjoys spending quality time with Melanie and his two children, Kira and Nathan. If not at a dance studio, hockey arena or on a soccer pitch, Jonathan can be found with his family camping, playing various sports activities or relaxing with family and friends.
  • Jonathan is passionate about our mission statement which is to provide professional, knowledgeable and compassionate care. He will continue to provide the residents of Woodstock and the surrounding area with the high level of care they deserve. 


Rob McLaren, Hons BKin, MSc PT - Registered Physiotherapist

Woodstock - Devonshire Location

Clinic Manager

  • Rob is our clinic and rehabilitation manager at our Devonshire location.
  • He graduated from Brock University in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2011. 
  • Rob has continued to further his education and also holds certifications in Anatomical Acupuncture and Dry-Needling, Manual Therapy, and Soft Tissue Release Therapy. Rob takes great value in constantly updating his knowledge and skill level in order to give his clients the relief and positive outcomes they pursue after being injured. His most recent certification is through the FITforeGolfTM Institute. FITforeGolfTM is a research-based golf rehabilitation program designed to incorporate the latest developments in science and sports medicine.
  • He has been certified as a Custom Bracing Consultant through OSSUR Canada and is our primary contact for custom bracing at our clinics.
  • Rob draws on his many years of experience of playing high-level sports and athletics to help his clients achieve their highest level of function after experiencing an injury. 
  • He believes in using a combination of hands-on techniques and functional, purpose-driven exercises while treating his clients. Rob is eager to help clients of all ages and abilities and has a special interest in hockey, baseball, and golf-specific injuries.


Parise Bois-Baird, Hons BSc(Kin), MPT - Registered Physiotherapist

Woodstock - Princess Location

  • Parise joined our team at our Princess location, Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic, in December 2014 as our first bilingual therapist. She brought with her many years of experience specializing in orthopaedics. 
  • Parise completed her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University with Honours and continued to her Masters of Physical Therapy at University of Western Ontario, graduating in 2008. 
  • In her many years of practice, Parise has specialized in orthopaedics completing her Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Upper Manual Therapy Certification. She continues to compliment her exceptional hands-on techniques with her Acupuncture certifications. Parise has ambitions to continue her education and expand her knowledge base to continue to provide contemporary techniques to her clients. 
  • Parise is very personable and empathetic towards all of her clients and supports them to overcome their rehab challenges.


Mike McQueen, BA Kin, MPT - Registered Physiotherapist

Woodstock - Princess Location

  • Mike joined our team at our Princess location, Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic in November 2016.
  • Mike graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with Distinction. He continued his education at Western, graduating with a Master of Physiotherapy in 2015. 
  • Since graduating, Mike's passion for learning and his desire to help clients achieve their greatest outcomes has led him to pursue many additional courses and certifications. These indclude TMJ disorders, Acupuncture, Mulligan Concept for the lower extremity, Ossur Canada Custom Bracing certification, as well as exercise and mobilization courses. 
  • When not at the clinic, Mike enjoys exercising, watching and playing sports, as well as spending time with his wife and dog.


Kian McDougall, BA Kin, MPT - Registered Physiotherapist

Woodstock - Devonshire Location


  • Kian joined our team at our Devonshire location in October 2017. 
  • Kian graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2004 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with distinction, and completed his Masters of Physical Therapy in 2006. 
  • He has continued his education in ongoing courses with a focus on pain sciences, exercise intervention, manual therapy, and concussion management. He has a keen interest in seeking out current quality research relevant to his practice, and applying it clinically to ensure he is providing high quality evidence-based care for his clients.
  • Kian’s treatment strategy focuses around active exercise interventions, education regarding injury management and pain, and manual therapy techniques to facilitate a full return to function and attainment of the client’s goals.
  • Outside of work, Kian enjoys running, golf, and coaching minor hockey. 


Kendal Marriott, BSc Kin, MPT, PhD - Registered Physiotherapist

Woodstock - Devonshire Location

  • Kendal joined our Devonshire team in September 2017.
  • Kendal earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree in 2012 at Western University. She then went on to complete the combined Master of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Sciences program at Western University in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
  • In addition to working at our Devonshire location, Kendal works as a Physiotherapist at Victoria Hospital in London on a casual basis. She is also working hard on completing a one year Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Waterloo in the Kinesiology Department.
  • She has a strong desire to treat clients for a variety of conditions while continuing to complete research focused on walking biomechanics and knee osteoarthritis.


Brian Bannon, BASc Kin, MScPT - Resident Physiotherapist

Woodstock - Devonshire Location

  • Brian is the newest member of our physiotherapy team joining us in September 2018.
  • Brian recently completed his Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy at The University of Toronto
  • Prior to completing his Masters, Brian obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Guelph-Humber and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion
  • Brian has completed additional training in Soft Tissue Release Therapy and is pursuing advanced level certifications in Manual Therapy
  • He believes in providing physiotherapy services that are designed specifically to help clients reach their goals and optimize physical function. Brian has a passion for teaching and enjoys educating clients regarding management of injuries, pain, and rehabilitation
  • Outside of the clinic Brian is an avid traveller and can often be found hiking with his dog
  • He enjoys working with clients of all ages and is excited to join the Woodstock Community!
