- Jonathan Jenney is a registered physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine.
- He completed his Bachelor of Science - Physiotherapy in 2000 at the University of Toronto. Prior to obtaining his Physiotherapy degree he attended the University of Western Ontario where he received an undergraduate degree in Honors Physical Education with a focus in Sports Injuries and a Bachelor of Education.
- After completing his physiotherapy degree, he worked for a short period of time at a physiotherapy clinic in his home town of Tillsonburg. He then worked for 6 years as a partner in another physiotherapy clinic in Woodstock. In 2006, Jonathan, along with his wife, Melanie, opened Active Physiotherapy Solutions in Woodstock which continues to grow to this day. In 2014, they purchased the Woodstock Physiotherapy Clinic which was the original private physiotherapy clinic in Woodstock, established 20 years ago.
- Away from the clinics, Jonathan enjoys spending quality time with Melanie and his two children, Kira and Nathan. If not at a dance studio, hockey arena or on a soccer pitch, Jonathan can be found with his family camping, playing various sports activities or relaxing with family and friends.
- Jonathan is passionate about our mission statement which is to provide professional, knowledgeable and compassionate care. He will continue to provide the residents of Woodstock and the surrounding area with the high level of care they deserve.
Rob McLaren, Hons BKin, MSc PT - Registered Physiotherapist
Clinic Manager Woodstock - Devonshire and Princess Locations
- Rob is our clinic and rehabilitation manager at our Devonshire and Princess locations. He is primarily seeing clients out of our Princess location.
- He graduated from Brock University in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2011.
- Rob has continued to further his education and also holds certifications in Anatomical Acupuncture and Dry-Needling, Manual Therapy, and Soft Tissue Release Therapy. He also holds a certification through the FITforeGolf TM Institute which is a research-based golf rehabilitation program designed to incorporate the latest developments in science and sports medicine. Rob takes great value in constantly updating his knowledge and skill level in order to give his clients the relief and positive outcomes they pursue after being injured.
- He has an Advanced Bracing Certification as a Custom Bracing Consultant through OSSUR Canada and is our primary contact for custom bracing at our clinics.
- Rob draws on his many years of experience of playing high-level sports and athletics to help his clients achieve their highest level of function after experiencing an injury.
- He believes in using a combination of hands-on techniques and functional, purpose-driven exercises while treating his clients.
- Rob is eager to help clients of all ages and abilities and has a special interest in hockey, baseball, and golf-specific injuries.
- Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, coaching hockey and baseball, and playing all types of sports.
Kian McDougall, BA Kin, MPT - Registered Physiotherapist

- Kian joined our team at our Devonshire location in October 2017.
- Kian graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2004 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with distinction, and completed his Masters of Physical Therapy in 2006.
- He has continued his education in ongoing courses with a focus on pain sciences, exercise intervention, manual therapy, and concussion management. He has a keen interest in seeking out current quality research relevant to his practice, and applying it clinically to ensure he is providing high quality evidence-based care for his clients.
- Kian’s treatment strategy focuses around active exercise interventions, education regarding injury management and pain, and manual therapy techniques to facilitate a full return to function and attainment of the client’s goals.
- Outside of work, Kian enjoys running, golf, and coaching minor hockey.
Sheenam Verma, Registered Physiotherapist

- Sheenam joined our team in the summer of 2020 and is currently working out of our Princess location.
- She completed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy in 2018 from India and then moved to Canada where she did her Bachelors of Health Science - Public Health - Post Diploma in 2020 from Cape Breton University in Nova Scotia.
- Sheenam gained experience as a physiotherapist working in orthopedic hospitals in India.
- Currently, she is planning to work on certifications in Concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, Acupuncture and advanced manual therapy.
- Sheenam is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and English.
- She believes in active learning and encourage clients' involvement to reach their health goals.
- Outside of the clinic Sheenam enjoys hiking, travelling and being with family and friends.

- Navneet joined our team at our Princess location in July 2021.
- She graduated with a physiotherapy degree from Baba Farid University Health Sciences in 2005. Since graduating, Navneet has gained her physiotherapy experience working in different practices including hospitals, private and OHIP clinics, and long term care.
- Navneet has extensive experience in treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain. When it comes to working with clients, Navneet is thorough and engaged. She believes in active learning.
- In her practice, she is well versed in treating a variety of patients including musculoskeletal, neurological, motor vehicle injuries, work related injuries, sports injuries, post-surgical and post fracture conditions, long-term and short-term disabilities.
- Navneet is trained in Acupuncture and Dry Needling, Mulligan Manual Therapy, Vestibular Rehab, and concussion.
- Navneet lives in Woodstock with her husband and son. In her free time, Navneet enjoys reading, staying active by working out, and exploring nature with her son.

- She earned a Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy from M.S. University in Baroda, India in 2018
- After earning her degree, Priyal worked in an outpatient clinic settings focusing on orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions
- Priyal moved to Canada in 2019 to pursue a graduate certification in Healthcare Administration and Service Management
- Priyal is very interested in Vestibular and Concusssion management as well as the Mackenzie Method and the various treatment techniques for neck and spinal conditions
- She is fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi
- Outside of work, Priyal likes to cook, watch Netflix and relax in her free time

- Arpita joined our team at our Devonshire location in January 2023
- She graduated from the National Institute of Rehabilitation, Training and Research in 2010 and then went on to complete her Masters in Orthopedic Physiotherapy from West Bengal University of Heath Sciences in 2014
- Before moving to Canada, Arpita completed placements in facilities that involved various aspects of orthopedic, neurologic as well as cardiac rehabiliation as well as working in a private clinic and multispecialty hospital in India with all age groups
- Arpita has done additional training in manual therapy including Maitland and Mulligan techniques and is always working to refine her skills and learn more in this field
- In the future, Arpita hopes to complete additional training to learn more about vestibular, pelvic floor and concussion management
- Arpita is very compassionate and believes in active participation of her clients in their treatment programs
- Arpita is fluent in Odia, Hindi, Bengali, and English

- Salman joined our team at our Princess location in June 2023
- He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2002 and then went on to complete a Post-Professional Doctor of Physiotherapy in 2012
- Salman worked as a team lead in Physiotherapy at a Tertiary Care Hospital in Pakistan before moving to Canada in 2014
- Since arriving in Canada, Salman has worked hard to complete certifications in Manual therapy, TMJ Dysfunction, Acupuncture and Dry needling, Total Spine Thrust Manipulations and Chronic Pain Management
- Currently, he is working towards completing a Diploma in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
- He also has a special interest in Vestibular and Concussion Management
- Salman is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and English
- He believes in evidence based treatment and achieving patient lead goals to help them get back in function

- Alisia joined our team in the summer of 2014 as a Physiotherapy Assistant, having graduated from a Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma Program at triOS College.
- Alisia is also our office and staffing manager for both locations.
- She has previous experience assisting seniors in long term care and home care with their physiotherapy needs.
- Alisia's caring personality and her ability to motivate our patients helps them to achieve their treatment objectives.
- Her goal is to ensure each client has a positive experience during their rehabilitation, and a safe and confident return to activity.

- Mandy joined our team at Woodstock Physiotherapy in January 2022
- She is currently in school at the University of Waterloo and is graduating in 2023 with a major in Honours Kinesiology and a specalization in Rehabilitations Science
- Mandy volunteers for the School of Anatomy at the University of Waterloo for outreach events. At these events, she teaches and presents human specimens as well as specialized equipment used to measure functions like VO2 max. Additoinaly, they also host professional outrach events for health profesionals such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists
- Mandy loves learning new things and is currently trying to learn the cello and piano as well as Hungarian and Spanish
- In her free time, Mandy loves to do many outdoor activities, exercise, spend time with her family and dogs, and cooking and baking

- Leslie received a Bachelor’s of Physical Therapy from the Universidad Marista Valladolid in 2022
- She has experience working in many health care centers including hospitals, sports clubs, private clinics, child development center. She also has experiencing working in a research clinic that studied physiotherapy diagnosis and various treatment methods.
- Leslie has training in both CPR and first aid
- She is interested in learning more about physiotherapy and it’s various roles especially in Intensive Care Units.

- Josh is currently working on a combined Master of Physiotherapy & PhD. Health and Rehabilitation Science at Western University and completed his Master of Science in Kinesiology from Brock University in 2022
- Josh also received his Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology with First Class Standing From Brock Univserity in 2020 and a Diploma in Health, Wellness adn Fitness from Mohawk College in 2017
- His previous research has focused on how exercise induces changes in muscle, bone and fat tissue with the main goal of improving our overall understanding of how tissue growth and development is augmented by exercise
- His current Ph.D. research is focused on the implementation and efficacy of rehabilitation exercise programs in post stroke and spinal cord injury patients
- In his spare time, Josh is a multisport athlete and plays basketball, soccer and golf

- He graduated with distinction from Trios College in November of 2022 with a Physiotherapy Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant Diploma
- Eric is also a Personal Trainer certified by Canfit Pro. He also has additional certification in Functional Fitness training as well as Kettlebell training
- Eric discovered his passion for Physiotherapy and training after years of factory work had taken their toll. He uses his experience as a physiotherapy client to help and motivate his clients here in the clinic
- Outside of the clinic Eric spends his time working out in the gym and with his 2 daughters and wife

- Sarah has been working and teaching in the fitness and health industry with people of all ages for over 30 years. She has taught courses at UWO and at Fanshawe College in the Kinesiology and Fitness and Health Promotion programs respectively.
- She also has over 25 years’ experience working with older adults at the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging with the VON and has created classes and programs at Hutton House.
- Teaching group fitness classes keeps Sarah very much in touch with current fitness and health programs. She continues teaching fitness classes with GoodLife Fitness Clubs and has done so for over 25 years.
- Currently, Sarah teaches HIIT, cycling, BodyPump, Functional Strength and Core classes at GoodLife Fitness Clubs. To inspire and support people to become and stay active during our COVID 19 crisis, Sarah also created outside neighbourhood classes.
- Sarah believes strongly in the benefits of exercise to improve mental, emotional and overall physical health. Having fun and connecting with people is Sarah’s goal! She loves to motivate others to move and to feel better.

- Dezirae is certified in Job Demands Analysis (JDA), Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) and has her CPR Level-C certification
- She has experience as a clinical program assistant and as a diabetes educator trainee.
- Dezirae is a fitness enthusiast with experience in weight lifting, half-marathons, CrossFit, HIIT training, and more.

- Jordan has experience working with all age groups and is very passionate about baseball
- He is currently the head coach of the 16U Ontario Nationals Baseball Club

- Johanna is committed to providing her clients with a wide array of skills and she continues her education every year. She has taken several specialized courses including headache and migraine management, diabetes massage, as well as visceral massage for treating the large and small intestines

- Natalie joined our team at our Princess location in 2023
- Natalie's Passion is and has always been Dance. She has danced all her life, training in Ballet, Jazz, West African, Funk, Modern, Tap, Swing and Hip Hop.
- Natalie is also an athlete, and has played various sports growing up, with Basketball and Track and Field being her most favourite.
- She attended Randolph College, training in Triple Threat (Acting, Singing & Dance)
- When Natalie found the bridge between both Dance and Fitness through Zumba® Fitness, she immersed herself in it completely and became a Licensed Zumba® instructor in 2011
- Shortly after, Natalie took her fitness career to the next level and became Certified to teach Group Fitness classes in 2013. The next year, Natalie was selected to be a Zumba® Jammer, teaching Skill Building and Choreography Jam Sessions / Workshops to Zumba® Instructors all over the World
- Natalie is a mother of 4, loves cats, but has 2 big dogs, both her and her Husband have made fitness a family affair
- She has become a forever student, learning everything she can about Fitness and a variety of programs to give you the results you want in both Mind and Body.

- Laura brings a variety of talents to our clinics and is very organized, has excellent customer service and is very good at handling any problem or issues that may arrise when helping clients
- Laura is very passionate about cooking and spends her free time researching and cooking many different cuisines. She also likes to indulge in reality TV and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and little sisters
